Ayoola and Matthew's Logie Country House Wedding in Aberdeenshire

Ayoola and Matthew’s Logie County House wedding was always going to be epic, especially when Ayoola is the Instagram hero behind ayo.dines, the go-to space for Aberdeen foodie content.

Fun fact for you - Ayoola and I actually studied together when we first went to university way back in 2009, which feels like a lifetime ago now… A whole load of years later, I could relive this day over and over again. It was marvellous!

Let’s take a moment to soak up all the details, from the autumnal colours of their floral design and the pop of red from Ayoola’s strawberry earrings, to the perfectly chosen stationary and vintage style cake, you could see the care they both took at crafting their big day. Ayoola even found time to choose a second dress - a golden shimmering outfit perfect for the dance floor!

Their day felt like it was made for their chosen venue! Logie County House is an exclusive use wedding venue just outside Aberdeen, nestled in the beautiful Aberdeenshire countryside, and it’s a photographers dream. With a mix of outdoor and indoor spaces, as well as traditional and modern, the venue is the perfect spot to get lost in your own little wedding bubble - just like Ayoola and Matthew did! There’s plenty of spots for your wedding photography, including lovely grounds, amazing countryside views, and epic interiors. Not to mention, if you’re lucky with the weather then you can catch a pretty epic golden hour for your evening photos!

Anyone who knows me will know that I have a weakness for cake, so it was fab working with Dim Dim Cakes for the first time. I’ve been admiring Abimbola’s cakes for a while and it was great to finally see her work in action! Gumblossom also make an appearance with their vintage love heart cake, which is always a showstopper.
